Beef Chow Fun (x1.5 scale)

A savory and satisfying stir-fried noodle dish featuring tender beef and flavorful sauces.

Beef Ho Fun is a classic stir-fried noodle dish that combines tender slices of beef with flavorful sauces and fresh ingredients. Known for its savory umami taste, this dish is perfect for an Asian-inspired dinner or a quick weeknight meal. The key to its special flavor is the combination of dark and light soy sauces, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, which together create a rich and complex taste. For best results, let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes. Serve hot and fresh for the ultimate dining experience.

Cut thin slices of beef.

Coat beef slices in light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cornstarch, bicarb soda, sugar and set aside for 10 minutes (or ideally 30 if you have time!).

  • 1.5 lemon juice

Add all sauces (dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, lemon juice) to a bowl and then into the stir fry and coat the noodles until brown colour.

Add the beef back in and cook for 2 minutes.
