Dave's Recipes

• 2 (102 g) large eggs

• 2 Tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter, softened

• ¹⁄₂ cup (64 g) cocoa, packed
• ¹⁄₂ cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp (5 g) vanilla extract

Beat in order, adding ingredients one at a time

• 2 ¹⁄₄ cups (281 g) all-purpose flour
• 1 ¹⁄₂ tsp (10 g) baking soda
• 1 ¹⁄₂ tsp (8 g) baking powder

• 2 ¹⁄₄ cups (281 g) all-purpose flour
• 1 ¹⁄₂ tsp (10 g) baking soda
• 1 ¹⁄₂ tsp (8 g) baking powder

Sift together and add to liquid mixture

• 1 cup (237 g) water, boiling

• 1 cup (237 g) water , boiling

Fold in boiling water

Place mixture in two prepared, round 9” cake pans.

• ¹⁄₂ cup (90 g) Chipits chocolate chips

• ¹⁄₂ cup (90 g) Chipits chocolate chips

Sprinkle with ½ cup chocolate chips.
