Fried Rice (x0.25 scale)

Simple and delicious fried rice recipe

Scale: x0.25 | x0.5 | x1 | x1.5 | x2 | x3 | x4

  • 1 12 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.25 onion
  • 2 Tbsp green peas
  • 2 Tbsp diced carrot
  • 3 prawns

Heat up a wok on high heat, add oil, and stir fry onions, peas, carrots. Add praws and stir until almost cooked through.

Move the onion, peas and carrots to the outside of the wok, and pour the beaten eggs into the centre. Scramble the eggs. Once cooked, mix the eggs with the vegetable mix.

  • 34 cup cooked white rice, cold
  • 1 12 to 2 14 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 12 tsp green onion

Add the rice to the veggie and egg mixture. Pour the soy sauce on top. Stir and fry the rice and veggie mixture until heated through and combined. Add chopped green onions if desired.
