Roasted Asian Salmon Fillets with Sesame Ginger Marinade

Healthy roasted salmon fillets with an Asian-inspired marinade.

This simple and infused with flavor recipe of roasted salmon fillets use a sweet and sticky Asian-inspired marinade, making it a crowd favorite. It's perfect for a quick and easy meal as it doesn't require marinade time and can be quickly popped into the oven. Serve it as a main dish for dinner parties or family dinner. The recipe includes garnishing with sesame seeds and green onions for added flavor, but this is optional.

  • 12 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 Tbsp (20 g) honey
  • 1 Tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp dark sesame oil
  • 12 tsp lime zest, grated
  • 12 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 Tbsp (20 g) honey

Whisk together all marinade ingredients until well blended

Arrange salmon fillets in a shallow baking dish and pour marinade over top. Turn salmon pieces to coat both sides with marinade

Refrigerate for 2 hours

Preheat oven to 450° F. Place marinated salmon fillets on a large, rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle extra marinade over top. Roast for about 10 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork

Notes

If you're short on time, you can skip the marinating process. Apply the marinade right before popping it in the oven.
