This recipe creates flavorful salmon patties using canned salmon and various seasonings. The addition of horseradish adds a kick to these patties, making them a crowd favorite. Ideal for serving at family gatherings or as an interesting twist to regular weeknight dinners. For frying, a non-stick pan works best, and cooking each side until golden brown ensures a superb crust.

Notes

The horseradish is optional. If you prefer less heat, you can reduce the amount or omit it entirely. However, it gives the patties a distinctive taste that stands out.

Ensure that the frying pan is preheated before adding the patties for the best results.

You can serve these patties with a side salad for a light lunch or dinner.

If you're using fresh salmon, make sure it's fully cooked to eliminate the potential risks associated with consuming raw fish.
