Chili (x0.25 scale)

Deliciously simple chili

  • 0.5 lbs (227 g) lean ground beef
  • 0.25 onion, diced
  • 0.25 green bell pepper
  • 0.5 stalk of celery

Brown ground beef and vegetables in large saucepan.

  • 12 tsp corn starch
  • 12 tsp (4 g) water, cold
  • 12 tsp corn starch

Mix corn starch and cold water, then dump into pot and stir.

  • 12 tsp cumin
  • 12 tsp (3 g) salt

  • pinch of black pepper

Add spices and garlic to pot.

Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes and bring to a boil.

Simmer (and still once in a while) or boil (and stir frequently) until the the chili becomes very thick.

  • 0.25 can of corn

Stir in kidney beans and corn and cook for a few minutes.
