Hamburger Chow Mein (x0.5 scale)

A staple dish my parents would bring to 1980s potlucks

Serves 4

  • 0.625 lbs (283 g) lean ground beef
  • 0.5 onion
  • 1 stalk of celery

Fry meat, onion, and celery until meat is browned.

  • 1 (300 g) package bean sprouts

Add bean sprouts and cook 5 minutes more.

  • 0.5 package Catelli fine thin noodles, cooked
  • 0.5 package Catelli fine thin noodles, cooked

Add to cooked Catelli noodles.

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 18 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 18 tsp black pepper

Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce to taste.

Place in 2 greased casserole dishes. Bake 1 hour at 300°F.
